  • Canmore Folk Fest Mentorship Concert

    The Canmore Folk Music Festival will be bringing live music back to the Bow Valley for a special event in Canmore. On Saturday, September 18, the Mentorship Project Concert will be held from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. in front of the Canmore Civic Centre and admission is completely free. The mentors include Julian Taylor, Steve Dawson and the Henhouse Allstars, Dawn Pemberton, Ndidi O, and Terra Lightfoot. The local mentees are The Cave Arcade, Seth Anderson, Lori Reid, Mari Hill, and Scott Diehl.

  • 215 Mural - Public viewing

    Johnny Bandura has created a powerful mural to honour the 215 children and graves found in Kamloops, BC by creating a mural which is a visual representation of what each and every one of those children could have become. The Mural will be on display to the Public on Sunday September 19th . The Mural is available for a special viewing to Elders, Residential School Survivors as well as people with restricted mobility on Saturday, September 18th at 7PM .
