Foundations of Hospitality For Indigenous Youth


The training program is specifically designed for Indigenous Youth between the ages of 15 to 30 looking for support to overcome employment barriers.  As a student of the Foundations of Hospitality Program,

you will also receive:

  • A monthly living allowance
  • All materials and supplies
  • Hospitality courses certified by the American Hospitality Lodging Education Institute (AHLEI)
  • Employment Certifications such as WHMIS, Food Safety, First Aid and Pro-Serve
  • Public transportation support
  • PAID 3-week work experience
  • 90 days of continued support after program completion
  • Enriching experiences such as a Grounding Ceremony and Elder Blessing
  • Opportunity to meet experts in the hospitality industry
  • Excursions outside the classroom
  • Mentorship and coaching
