A Facebook Post from the Town of Vallerview says All customers – residential, industrial, and commercial – are asked to discontinue all non-essential water use and are advised that all outdoor water use is prohibited.

Discontinuing of all non-essential water use by all customers includes:

No watering lawns, gardens, or trees

No filling pools, fountains, ponds

No use of water not used for human consumption

In conformity, the Town will discontinue non-essential water use, including:

For users of the Truck and Barrell Fills at the Water Treatment Plant:

The Truck Fill at the Water Treatment Plant will be closed on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. and will remain closed until the water ban is lifted.

The Barrel Fill will remain open for potable water users between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Users of the barrel fill are limited to 1 cubic meter of potable water every two days.

The Town will manage water amounts to ensure sufficient water storage for firefighting.
