Join Willow Lake Métis Nation on Friday, May 3rd, for a Solidarity Walk, BBQ Lunch, and Gathering to honor and remember.
Red Dress Day is the National Day of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People, dedicated to honoring the memories of those lost across Canada.
Inspired by Métis artist Jaime Black, the red dress movement symbolizes the pain and loss experienced by loved ones and survivors, with red dresses hung from windows and trees as emotional reminders.
Let’s come together on this day in solidarity to show our support, raise awareness, and offer our unwavering support to all those affected.
